Place your order for a hand-forged camp knife! These blades are made out of reclaimed 5160 Carbon Steel and are ready to be your workhorse around the campfire. With an edge-only quench for durability and safety the stats are: length - 10 inches. Handle - 4.5in, blade - 6.5in, thickness 3/16, weight .5lb (5.9oz). These blades are made from reclaimed heavy duty truck leaf spring, equivalent to 5160 carbon steel, very durable and utilitarian, handle scales are Purpleheart Wood, and the pin is solid brass. For safety, we ship all blades with a rough edge, easy to strop/hone after shipping. Leave us a note when you order, they can be sharpened upon request. Also note that all blades and handles are made and fitted by hand, there may be a minor imperfection, or small deviance in specification.
